Oh big sigh, its Friday and my week of hurray is nearly gone. Now I could get all teary at this point and declare that I shall never return to the evil place of employment, or I could just do what I actually intend to do and just chill out for the three days I have left, savouring every moment of just doin' what i wanna. I can understand why people live on the dole (through choice - its a bitch to live on if you don't choose it that way)... sure never being able to afford anything would bite bigtime, but the payoff is that you don't have to sit in commuter traffic hell for ages to get to doing nothing, you don't spend 40 hours in some kind of mental thumbscrew trying to come up with solutions for every man and his CEO's dog, and you can actually have time to think about things other than what you're going to have for lunch that may just fill your empty, empty day. Oh yes, I know its an ideal, but I think that come pension-and-let's-retire-jujitsu time I will be happy to get all Miss Marple on it's arse and just hang out in some village, interfering with the lives of as many young folk as possible.

It truly has been somewhat of a renaissance week for me, returning to doing what I do, if not best, then at least fairest... painting, sewing, cooking, laughing, boozing, dancing, loving and playing dress-ups. I allowed myself to enjoy it all, and to get cross if it needed it and chill out when my presence in life was not required. Which apparently is not very often, hmphm. I can't even think of anything that would make this time more 'perfect', cause I have had this crazy notion lately that things are what they are and following a Kafkian notion of existence, they are only what we make them.

Stews are good, I like stews.

The wind is windy, and sometimes cold.

See Spot run.

Good times are obvious, they're right in front of you. Have you seen your good time today?
